"Most would acknowledge that as complexity of information and design increases, there has to be an increase in the intelligence and ability of the one who produces it." Renton Maclachlan
Evidence for God — Intelligence
IV. Evidence of God through knowledge
A. The random assembly of a brain gives it no rational basis or reason that it can function in a manner that it can give us truth.
1. The progression of logical thought processes cannot be explained by random.
2. The differentiation between a what and a who cannot be explained by random.
3. The recognition of self cannot be explained by random.
a. The recognition of the external boundaries of the entity containing self cannot be explained by random.
b. The internal recognition of and formulation of thoughts, ideas and plans cannot be explained by random.
B. The rational capacity or mental acumen to acquire information, retain, sort and assemble it into meaningful concepts is required to recognize what is or is not teleologically beneficial, useful or valuable:
1. Intelligence is required to sort noise from useful data.
2. Intelligence is required to recognize imbedded data in encoded or scrambled information.
3. Intelligence is required to read, manipulate, and employ imbedded data or encoded information.
C. The assembly of integrated complex structured data implies a supreme creative agent.
"I think only an idiot can be an atheist. We must admit that there exists an incomprehensible power or force with limitless foresight and knowledge that started the whole universe going in the first place. (C.B. Anfinsen, 1972 Nobel Prize for Chemistry)
1. The assembly of structured data [i.e. this document] into meaningful information implies a creative agent.
2. Extreme ingenuity is required to integrate simple and complex parts into many diverse DNA, RNA, mRNA and similar cellular messenger systems.
3. The necessity of supreme intelligence to creatively assemble and embed data with more than 3.5 billion characters in a DNA chain that folds and unfolds to make proteins, enzymes and other biological chemicals.
4. The necessity of supreme intelligence to creatively make diverse DNA chains for a myriad of diverse plant1 and animal organisms2.
(1) There are about 375,000 species of plants, with more being discovered each year.
(2) The number of known species for all animals other than arthropods is about 250,000.

5. The necessity of supreme intelligence to creatively make diverse biological machines used in plant and animal organisms.
"We are privileged to live in an age of unprecedented discovery, where our view has zoomed in to the range of billionths of a meter. What did we find? Just fluids jostling about, undergoing chemical reactions? No! A thousand times no! We found machines at work in factories, interacting with incredible efficiency. We found libraries of digital code. We found machines reading the code, translating it, and converting it into other machines. We found thermostats, walking robots, rotary engines, emergency response squads, and long-distance communication networks. We found temperature sensors, volume sensors, disposal services, packaging services, and defense systems. Sex was no longer the transfer of a featureless fluid from the male to the female, but a process of unbelievable complexity involving swimming robots carrying gigabytes of information to be joined to a very complex egg cell with more gigabytes of information, triggering a cascade of machines building machines all the way to a complete baby. The growth of a seedling into a plant is no longer to be shrugged off as something that happens from time to time in nature, but a complex interplay of hormones triggering changes to thousands of molecular machines in plant cells. It's a planet of machinery! Look around and consider how every living organism, from the worm in the soil, to the bee pollinating a flower, to the hummingbird in the garden, to the tree growing higher and higher in your back yard, operates through the action of thousands of molecular machines that we have begun to understand only in the last tenth of 1% of recorded human history. If the wonder of what we have discovered doesn't make you shout Praise the Lord! as never before, you might be asleep or dead." http://crev.info/2015/05/cell-machines/
Evidence for God — Scientific foreknowledge
Psalm 43:3 "O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto your holy hill, and to your tabernacles." Psalm 85:11 "Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven." Proverbs 24:32 "Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction."
A. "Paths of the sea" - Matthew Fontaine Maury heard this read aloud from the 8th chapter of Psalms, and Matthew declared, "If God says there are paths in the sea, they are there and I am going to find them." This he did before gaining fame as the Father of Oceanography.
Psalms 8:8b "and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas". (See Psalm 77:19)
B. Life is in the blood - It was only in the 1800's, that this fact was discovered by medical scientists. It has revolutionized the whole theory of medicine.
Genesis 9:4 & Leviticus 17:11 "But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat."
C. The empty space of the north - This was pointed out more than 4,000 years ago by Job and this significant fact was only recently re-discovered by astronomers. www-istp.gsfc.nasa.gov/stargaze/StarFAQ22.htm#q400
Job 26:7 "He spreads out the northern skies, over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing."
D. The roundness of the earth - Columbus and other mariners proved this while rejecting the accepted theory of the earth being flat.
Isaiah 40:22 "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers."
E. Human blood is of the same type regardless of race or color. - Science (i.e. William Harvey and others) has demonstrated only in recent times that there is no essential difference in human blood between the different geographic groups of the earth.
Acts 17:26 "And hath made of one blood all nations of men...;"
F. "Springs of the sea" - Science has verified this in the later twentieth century.
Job 38:16 "Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?"
G. Earth's position in the universe gives it a unique window to look upon the events in space. Astronomers now conclude that if the earth in its galaxy were positioned slightly different the vast celestial scenery now visualized would be obscured.
Psalms 115:16 "The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men." And in Genesis 15:5 "And he (God) brought him (Abraham) forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars...;"
H. The variety of star types and sizes.
1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
I. The roundness of the earth AND the expanding universe.
Isaiah 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
J. Earth's position in the solar system gives it a unique capacity to support life of varied forms.
Nehemiah 9:6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
Psalm 8:6-8 Thou madest him (man) to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. (discovered by Matthew Fontaine Murray)
K. The hydro-logic cycle of evaporation, clouds, rain, rivers and below-ground aquafers, plant and animal use, etc.
Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
Amos 5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
Psalm 147:8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. (See also: Ecclesiastes 1:7; Jeremiah 10:13; Amos 9:6 and Job 36:27-28)
